All Beard Beanies are made in the USA!

-Shipping information:  Shipping is free in the US and Canada "however insurance to Canada is required".  Everywhere else is only $5.00 plus insurance which brings the total shipping and insurance combined to about $8.  See below for more info about international shipping.   

-We try to ship the next day, however shipping can vary with demand.  It may take up to 7 business days before it's shipped.  Current orders are getting out in an average of 36 hours from time of purchase, however in times of high demand shipping times can take up to the 7 busness days.  We are working hard to make you happy (and nice and warm!) Thanks for your understanding.

-When ordering, please make sure the shipping address entered into checkout is correct.  If you're using your paypal account, please look over the shipping address to make sure it's current. We will ship to the address that is listed on the order.   

-International orders:  Economy international shipping through USPS is only tracked to the city it departs the United States.  If it looks like your order is stuck in LA, it's not, that's just the last place it was departing the United States.  Packages are not tracked after leaving the US borders!  Shipping times vary quite a bit from country to country, and at times they will hold the package at the local post office for customs.  Please be patient when ordering internationally.  We will provide proof the package has been shipped, however we can not be resposible if your country does not deliver, charges customs and other fees, or just plain looses your packages .  By ordering internationally, you assume responsiblity for your country's postal system and will not dispute with paypal when we provide proof of shipping.  

-Q:  Does the beard detach and fold away?

A:  No, The beard is sewn onto the hat making it a one piece appliction.  Yes we know, other imitators use velcro or buttons, our experience is velcro and knit are MORTAL enemies!  "remember when you got your knit hat stuck in the velcro on your coat?  Disaster!"  Buttons have proven to press on the head making the hat painful.  The sewn on option gives you a nice face hugging fit un-equal to any other! 

-Q:  I have seen a lot of different beard hats, how is yours the ORIGINAL?

A:  We introduced the beard beanie to the world at the end of 2009, and have since been copied more then a xerox machine.  Check out the story on the designers blog at:  www.taraduffstuff.blogspot.com

-Q: Can I get it a custom crocheted beard beanie here?

A:  All custom colored crocheted beard beanies are sold through the Etsy shop.  If there is not a listing to get one, we are trying to catch up with current orders.  It will come back when things are more under control.  www.taraduff.etsy.com

-Q:  Do you do wholsale orders?

-Q: How to I size my Beard Beanie?

A:  The small/medium is based off a 22-23" measurement just above the ears and around the forehead. If your head is bigger then 23 then you will need a large/extra large.  If you're ordering a gray, blue, or black bearded stocking cap they tend to run just a tad smaller.  Better adjust down 1/2 inch.

     *Note: Snowbearder Jeep Hats runs a bit small, best suited for heads under 23"

     *The Thinsulate lumberjack hats are the best for large mellons!

     *The Eco2 black, charcoal, and linen work good for most people, but if your noggin is extra large, steer toward a Thinsulate lumberjack. 

-Q:  Are some hats warmer then others?

A:  YES. The Thinsulate lumberjack beard beanie is made  with 40g Thinsulate insulation and is nice and toasty.  Also, the lumberjack beards are fuller and somewhat warmer.  The rest of the styles do great in bone chilling cold, or your next visit to the slopes!

-Q:  Do you have a return policy?

A:  YES!  We want you to be totally HAPPY and IN LOVE with your Beard Beanie.  If you don't like it for some weird freaky reason, send it back within 7 days of receipt for a full refund.   We are proud of our product and stand by it 100%.  If there is a flaw, or if something just isn't right, e mail customersupport@beardbeanie.com for a quick resolution. 

-Q:  How secure is your site?

A:  We process all payments via Pay Pal upon check out.  No credit card information is collected by us, we never see it!  Pay Pal encrypts all your information for maximum security.  Be assured your information will not get into the wrong hands.   

-Q: How long will it take to get my Beard Beanie?

A:  Please allow up to 3-7 business days for us to complete and ship your order.  After that domestic shipping in the USA takes 3-5 business days sent via 1st class mail with delivery confirmation included at no extra charge.  If we happen to have extra in stock you may see it grace your mail box even sooner.  International orders take 8-10  business days to arrive after being shipped.  If you are ordering outside of the USA, please remember the local post office may hold your package until applicable taxes or customs fees are paid. 

-Q:  Why do international orders take longer to arrive?
